James River Erratics
The site for JAMES RIVER ERRATICS is a beautiful garden atop a three story parking deck. The roof top green space is a prominent feature of the new corporate headquarters for Dominion Energy in Richmond VA. The garden is a floating oases in the center of the city populated by native plants from the coastal plains. As the rocky James River passes through Richmond It seemed fitting to introduce the suggestion of a rocky outcropping to the site. A sculptural element that speaks both to the natural world and to the man made world surrounding it.
